The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a mainstream Protestant church. It has approximately 19 million members worldwide. More than one million members are in North America. The church seeks to enhance the quality of life for people. They want to let people know that Jesus is coming again soon.

Adventists believe in a Trinity of three persons. These are the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit. They make up one God. They made salvation possible through Jesus. Jesus came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem. He lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father’s will. Jesus was crucified for the sins of the world. He arose from the dead on the third day. Victory was won for everyone.

When Jesus returned to heaven He left the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit serves as our Comforter and Counselor. Jesus promised to return to earth a second time. He will complete His plan of salvation. He will take His people to heaven. Adventists are among the believers who look forward to that day.

Adventists believe that God is concerned with the quality of human life. Everything is part of His plan. This includes how we live eat speak and think. It also includes how we treat each other and care for the world around us. Our families our children our jobs our talents our money and our time are all important to Him.
