Whispers of faith echo through time. This is Northside Christian Church. Or rather Nexus Church as it’s known today. Right here on this very spot in Everton Park a vision took root. In 1976 a small group gathered. They yearned for a strong faith community. Northside Christian Family Church was born. It grew from humble beginnings. Just 80 people filled this space. Today thousands call Nexus Church their spiritual home. Nexus means a point of connection. That’s precisely what this church has become. A place where people connect with God with each other and with purpose. The church’s history is woven into the fabric of this community. Generations have worshipped within these walls. Their joys their sorrows their hopes their prayers. All have shaped the very essence of Northside Christian Church. They built not just a building but a legacy of faith a testament to the enduring power of belief. Nexus Church now hosts three services each Sunday. People of all ages and backgrounds come together. They share in worship music and uplifting messages. The building itself has seen expansion and renovation. The college next door stands as a testament to the church’s commitment to education. Northside Christian College opened in 1985. It’s a testament to the church’s vision. A vision that extends beyond Sunday services. A vision to nurture faith in the hearts and minds of young people. The College added a Centre for Innovation and Creativity. This is a modern facility dedicated to shaping future generations. This building you see before you is more than just bricks and mortar. It’s a vibrant hub of activity. It’s a place where lives are touched and transformed. It’s a place where faith takes root and blossoms into something truly remarkable. Northside Christian Church. A place of connection a place of hope a place of faith.
