In the vibrant tapestry of San Antonio faith finds a home at the Northeast Bible Evangelical Free Church. This church isn’t just a building. It’s a testament to a community’s unwavering devotion. The Northeast Bible Evangelical Free Church embarked on a journey in 1980 driven by a vision: “to bring Jesus to every home in the northeast corner of San Antonio.” Their strategy was rooted in the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. It involved coming together for weekend worship nurturing discipleship through small groups and extending a helping hand through service. As the congregation grew their previous worship center built decades ago and accommodating just over 300 people could no longer contain their spirit. The need for a new space where everyone could worship without feeling cramped led them to a decision in 2017. Partnering with CIF an organization they had successfully collaborated with in 2009 the Northeast Bible Evangelical Free Church embarked on the construction of a new worship center. Their faith and CIF’s support resulted in a grand opening in February 2022. Today the Northeast Bible Evangelical Free Church stands as a beacon of faith a place where over 700 individuals can gather and celebrate their shared beliefs.
