In 1967, the first cornerstone for a new church was laid. By 1968, Archbishop Phaolô Nguyễn Văn Bình consecrated this new building. This structure remains the core of Nhà thờ Xuân Hiệp today. The year 1978 brought a community of Salesian priests led by Father Phêrô Nguyễn Văn Đệ. They began serving the growing congregation at Nhà thờ Xuân Hiệp. On January 1, 1979, Archbishop Phaolô Nguyễn Văn Bình formally established the parish. Nhà thờ Xuân Hiệp transitioned from a simple gathering place to a full-fledged parish church. Father Phêrô Nguyễn Văn Đệ became the first parish priest. From its humble beginnings, Nhà thờ Xuân Hiệp has flourished. Through dedication and the guidance of its leaders, the parish has grown. It has become a vital part of the community. The church offers numerous services, including daily Mass, children’s catechism, and counseling.
