Father Nicolas Huỳnh Văn Nghi a pivotal figure oversaw its early years. He was later replaced by Father Giacobe Huỳnh Văn Huệ. Other priests including Father Giacobe Nguyễn Văn Phương Father Stanislao Lê Vinh Thủy Father Cosma Hoàng Văn Đạt and Father Giuse Phạm Văn Đậu served the parish. Each contributed to its growth. Each left their mark on Nhà Thờ Thành Giuse Thứ’s history.
By 1995 the need for a larger church became apparent. Father Gioan Baotixita Trần Đức Huyện a priest from the Đại Chủng viện Thánh Giuse stepped in. Yet it offers improved accessibility and a more spacious setting. The move reflects the ongoing adaptation of Nhà Thờ Thành Giuse Thứ to meet the evolving needs of its congregation.
