Amidst the bustling energy of Ho Chi Minh City, find a sanctuary. This sanctuary is Nhà thờ Chi hội Hiệu Liêm. It’s a beacon of faith for the Evangelical community. Nhà thờ Chi hội Hiệu Liêm stands as a testament to the resilience and dedication of its congregation. Their journey began in the humble surroundings of a family home. In 1996, two families, the Nguyen Nam Hai and Nguyen Van San families, arrived in Hiệu Liêm seeking new opportunities. Driven by their faith, they began holding small prayer meetings in 1998. These gatherings blossomed into a vibrant community. By 1999, the Nhà thờ Chi hội Hiệu Liêm officially formed. They initially gathered in Mr. Nguyen Nam Hai’s living room. With the guidance of Pastor Nguyen Huu Vien, the congregation grew to 86 members by 2000. The growth continued. In 2004, the church was recognized by the Evangelical Church of Vietnam. Pastor Truong Duy Tue and Pastor Tran Ngoc Cong provided spiritual leadership. Pastor Nguyen Van Binh also offered support. The official recognition by the government came in 2007. The congregation continued to expand, leading to the construction of a larger building in 2008. Pastor Truong Duy Tue oversaw this expansion until 2011. Then, Pastor Nguyen Duy Hai took the helm, later becoming the official pastor in 2014. A milestone was reached in 2017. The congregation celebrated the inauguration of their new church building. This marked a significant step in the growth of Nhà thờ Chi hội Hiệu Liêm. From its humble beginnings, Nhà thờ Chi hội Hiệu Liêm now serves as a spiritual home for many. It stands as a symbol of perseverance and devotion.
