“Online check-in supported.” That’s the modern convenience that Vietnam Airlines offers at Nh\u00e0 T1. We stand here ready to explore Nh\u00e0 T1. It is part of Hanoi University.

Nh\u00e0 T1 has a story to tell. But first let’s talk about online check-in. Imagine skipping the long lines. This is possible with Vietnam Airlines for domestic flights. If you have no baggage you can go straight to security. If you have baggage you can quickly visit the counter. Online check-in lets you choose your seat early.

Remember online check-in opens 24 hours before departure. It closes two hours before. This service is limited to nine passengers per booking. It does not apply to children under 12. Online check-in is only for flights from Hanoi. It also applies to Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City. If you check in online arrive at least 20 minutes before boarding.

Now let’s talk more about Nh\u00e0 T1. It is part of the Hanoi University. Hanoi University was founded in 1959. It’s an interesting point to start when thinking about Nh\u00e0 T1.

Let’s consider arriving at Noi Bai International Airport. It is the second biggest transport hub in Vietnam. It is about 38 kilometers from Hanoi’s city center. The airport has two terminals: T1 and T2. T1 is for domestic flights. T2 handles international flights.

If you fly domestically you arrive at Terminal T1. Terminal T1 was refurbished in 2015. It can host 15 million passengers. This terminal has four levels. You will find arrivals departures and concessions there.

For international flights Terminal T2 is used. It opened in 2014. It can handle 10 million passengers a year. By 2030 it will handle 15 million. Terminal 2 has four floors and one basement.

Getting between terminals is easy. A free shuttle bus runs between T1 and T2. It operates from 6 AM to midnight. Buses come every 10 to 15 minutes.

Noi Bai International Airport offers many services. There are lounges for first and business class passengers. You can find locker rooms on the second floor of T2. There are also children’s playgrounds near gate 33 in T2. Baby care rooms are on the third floor of T2.

Need information? There are desks in both terminals. In T2 they are on the first and third floors. The hotline is (+844) 35 876 611. In T1 counters are on the first floor. Another is on the bridge on the second floor of halls A and E. You can reach them at (+844) 35 843 004.

Food is plentiful at the airport. Both T1 and T2 offer many choices. You can find Vietnamese and international cuisine. Comfortable coffee shops offer runway views. All places have 24/7 service. They also have free WiFi and charging outlets.

Currency exchange rates are good at the airport. ATMs from Vietnamese banks are available. These include BIDV Maritime Bank and others.

Shopping is a great way to relax. Noi Bai airport has duty-free and souvenir shops. You can find clothing beauty products and perfumes. Souvenir shops sell art textiles and fashion items.

SIM cards are cheap in Southeast Asia. Buy one to book a Grab or track a taxi. Mobile Phone Viettel and Vinaphone are popular networks. A SIM card costs about 50000 VND to 100000 VND.

The airport offers free WiFi called “NoiBai Airport Free Wi-fi”. Free water is also available in each terminal. Each terminal has chargers for phones and laptops.

To get to the city center you have options. Grab taxis airport coaches and public buses are available. The trip takes about an hour.
