In 1965 Father Toma Vu Duc Kiểm established the first structure of Nghĩa trang Giáo xứ Trinh Vương. It was a simple building measuring 16 meters by 40 meters. This served as a place of worship and prayer. Two years later Father Phước Trần Đức Tiến built another structure. This one was also modest 14 meters by 30 meters. It was dedicated to the Heavenly Father. In 1968 Father Giacôbê Trần Mạnh Thường gathered families from La Ngà. They had been displaced by war. He established a third structure. This was a more permanent building measuring 10 meters by 30 meters. It was located in Tam Hiệp Đức Tu Biên Hòa. This new church was called Bùi Phát.

The three churches Bùi Thường Bùi Đức and Bùi Phát eventually merged. They formed the Nghĩa trang Giáo xứ Trinh Vương. Father Giacôbê Trần Mạnh Thường became its first pastor. In 1970 Father Giuse Trần Hiệp Sỹ took over. He was responsible for the Bùi Phát church. He also oversaw the Bùi Đức and Bùi Thường churches of Nghĩa trang Giáo xứ Trinh Vương. He and his community built a parish hall in 1972. They renovated the church in 1973 and constructed a new church building.

By the end of 1975 all three churches lacked a pastor. Father Vincenti Phạm Liên Hùng then took charge of the Bùi Phát church. He also helped the Bùi Đức and Bùi Thường churches of Nghĩa trang Giáo xứ Trinh Vương. In 1997 the three churches separated. They became distinct parishes as they are today. Thanks to the love of the Heavenly Father and dedicated pastors Nghĩa trang Giáo xứ Trinh Vương continues to thrive. Its material resources and spiritual life have grown significantly. Currently under the guidance of Father Giuse Lê Như Sức the parish activities are peaceful and orderly. Nghĩa trang Giáo xứ Trinh Vương is surrounded by other places. To the east lies the Bùi Đức church. To the west lies the Bùi Đức cemetery. To the south is the Bùi Thường church. To the north is the Cao Đẳng Sư Phạm Đồng Nai school. The parish covers a significant area of 9 hectares. It celebrates its patron saint’s day in early May. Its current pastor is Giuse Nguyễn Thanh Tùng. He started in October 2023.

The parish has grown substantially over the years. In 1969 there were 1300 parishioners. By 1974 this number increased to 5015. The number of families also grew from zero in 1969 to 410 in 2020. Nghĩa trang Giáo xứ Trinh Vương is a testament to resilience faith and community. It stands as a symbol of hope amidst challenges. Its story is one of perseverance and spiritual growth.
