The leaders of the Apostolic Church sought affiliation. They wanted to join the Assemblies of God. The request was granted. The church was officially recognized. It became a local Assemblies of God church. Now it is the New Rochelle Assembly of God Church.

The New Rochelle Assembly of God Church stands on the corner of Union and Webster. It is a multi-ethnic congregation. Prayer is very important here. It is seen as the engine that drives the church.
