In 1982 a significant event unfolded. Pastor Richard Salazar pioneered the first New Harvest Christian Fellowship church. This was in San Diego California. New Harvest Christian Fellowship wasn’t just a building. It was a seed of faith planted in San Diego. It represented a new beginning for many. Pastor Salazar’s vision extended beyond San Diego. Six months after establishing the San Diego church he and his wife Nancy became missionaries. They planted a New Harvest church in Manchester United Kingdom. They also established five other works in the UK during their five-year mission. The San Diego church stands as a testament to their pioneering spirit. It’s a cornerstone of their ministry expanding across the United States and internationally. Today New Harvest Christian Fellowship International oversees approximately 56 churches. This impressive network reflects the enduring impact of that initial San Diego church. It’s a living legacy built on faith perseverance and dedication. The original San Diego church may have changed. Its location might have evolved. The spirit of New Harvest however continues to thrive. It’s a beacon of hope and community. It’s a place where faith takes root and blossoms.
