Behind the temple is Sant Nivas. It is a special accommodation block. It houses resident and visiting priests. A 400 person capacity air conditioned community hall hosts conferences and marriages. Fast forward to April 12, 2011. Mombasa celebrated Ram Navami with the opening of New Dwarikadham Temple. Deities Sri Sri Sita Rama Laksman Hanuman were installed. They blessed all of Mombasa.

The opening festivities spanned five days. A Nagar sankirtana started the celebrations. A procession carried Sri Sri Rukmini Dwarikadish to their new home. Yajnas were performed. Harinam sankirtan filled the air.

The New Dwarikadham Temple construction took two years. Gopal Krishna Goswami and Anand Das guided the project. Donors supported the vision. Today, it stands as the largest ISKCON temple in East and Central Africa.

The New Dwarikadham Temple is more than a building. It is a vibrant hub. Weekly programs are offered for women and children. Bhakti shastri scriptural study courses are available.
