New College students can use the university gym for free. It is located at the Iffley Sports Ground. Students simply show their Bod card at reception. They can also get discounted access to Iffley swimming pool.

New College encourages sports involvement. They help cover some sporting expenses. This applies to members of the JCR and MCR. The Sporting and Cultural Development Award supports this. The Blues Fund is specifically for university-level sport. It is allocated every Trinity term.

The majority of New College School’s home rugby, football and cricket fixtures take place on ‘Field’. It is marked as ‘New College Recreation Ground’ on maps. It is a short walk from the main site on Savile Road. You can access ‘Field’ by foot. Go towards the pedestrian gate next to Linacre College. It is a few yards up from the corner of South Parks Road and St Cross Road. On-street parking is available. You can park on the surrounding roads or on Savile Road itself.
