Have you ever wondered where tech innovators sharpen their skills? Right here at Neumont College of Computer Science, minds are molded. Neumont College stands tall in Salt Lake City. It is a private, for-profit college focused on computer science.

Neumont’s story began in 2003. Graham Doxey, Scott McKinley, and Marlow Einelund founded it. Originally, it was named Northface University. It later became Neumont University. In 2017, it adopted its current name, Neumont College of Computer Science.

Neumont focuses on applied computer science. The college is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. It offers bachelor’s degrees in several fields. These include Computer Science, Software and Game Development, and Cybersecurity. A new Master of Science in Applied Artificial Intelligence degree is also available.

In 2013, Neumont moved to this downtown location. The building itself has a history. It is an 11-story art deco building. It formerly housed The Salt Lake Tribune. The move marked a new chapter for the college.

Neumont’s approach is unique. Students gain real-world experience through tech projects. It is like an internship during college. Small class sizes allow personalized attention. Over the years, Neumont has had several presidents. Graham Doxey was the first. Edward H. Levine followed him. Shaun McAlmont then took the reins. Currently, Aaron Reed leads the college. Each president has contributed to Neumont’s growth.
