For two decades, the Nettebad thrived. But by the early 1990s, signs of wear and tear started to show. The needs of bathers had changed. This led to the Bäderkonzept 2000plus. It laid the foundation for today’s Nettebad. It is now a modern sports and leisure facility. After about five years of planning and construction, the “new Nettebad” opened on March 18, 2005, with a huge celebration.
