Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church offers several Mass times. They accommodate diverse schedules.
On Sundays anticipatory Mass on Saturday is at 4:30 PM. Sunday Mass times are 7:30 AM 9:30 AM 11:30 AM and 5:00 PM. Daily Masses are held Monday through Friday at 7:00 AM and 9:30 AM. Saturday Mass is at 9:30 AM.
For those at home Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church livestreams Mass daily at 9:30 AM. This ensures everyone can participate.
Holy Days Mass times include Vigil Masses at 7:00 PM. Holy Day Masses are at 7:00 AM 9:30 AM and 7:00 PM. Always check the parish bulletin for updates.
Confession is available on Thursdays from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM during Holy Hour. Saturdays it is from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM and 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Sundays confession is 30 minutes before each Mass.
Anointing of the Sick is by appointment. Contact the front desk at 303-469-5171 Ext. 101. If you or someone you know is homebound Nativity can schedule a visit from a priest. A Eucharistic Minister may also visit. They can provide sacraments of penance and Eucharist.
Assistive listening devices are available. These help everyone participate fully.

Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church is not Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church. Mater Dolorosa has a distinct history. After 1803 plantations were subdivided upstream from the city. Towns like Carrollton developed. Carrollton Railway enabled transport.
Father Augustin DeAngelis ministered to Carrollton. Father Rossi was the first part-time pastor. In 1847 Archbishop Blanc appointed Father Ferdinand Zeller as pastor. He set up a temporary church for French Germans and Irish residents.
In 1848 Father Zeller built a wood frame church. It seated 200. A cholera epidemic delayed the project. In 1849 the parish was incorporated as St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church of Carrollton.
The Sisters of Charity established an orphan asylum. It relied on the church. Around 1866 the Franco-Prussian War caused conflict. German parishioners formed a separate church. Nuns taught girls. Christian Brothers taught boys. A storm destroyed the German school in 1882. By 1897 the German church population declined. Plans arose to merge the parishes. The Josephite priests took over the German church. It was renamed St. Dominic Church. In 1897 Archbishop Chapelle appointed Rev. John Francis Prim. He united the French and German parishes. The new church was named Mater Dolorosa.
