Founded in 1896 by the Narainsamy Family Trust, this temple isn’t just a place of worship. It’s an architectural marvel designed and built by Chris Kristapper Reddy. His vision, with its finely decorated spire and pyramidal dome added between 1906 and 1908, stands as a testament to his artistry. Inside the Narainsamy Temple, you’ll find a sanctuary adorned with colorful lithographs of the Hindu pantheon. They stand out vividly against the white walls, whispering tales of Vishnu, Shiva, Ganesh, Soobramaniar, and the Nauw Graha—the principal deities enshrined here. Declared a National Monument in 1984, the Narainsamy Temple’s legacy is etched in both history and faith.
