“Next stop Nanheng” announces the train. Nanheng Station is on Line 4 of the Guangzhou Metro. It opened on December 28 2017. This marked a significant expansion of the city’s transportation network.

Nanheng is the southernmost station on the Guangzhou Metro system. Think about that for a moment. You are as far south as you can go on this network.

Imagine the excitement on opening day. People from all over Nansha District gathered. They wanted to experience the new convenience.

Nanheng Station serves the local community. It connects them to Guangzhou and beyond. The station is located on Huanshi Avenue. It is also near Nanyihui Road in Nansha District. This location makes it accessible for many residents.

Consider the design of Nanheng Station. Like other Guangzhou Metro stations, it is modern and functional. The underground structure ensures efficient use of space.

Let’s talk about the station layout. Nanheng has a concourse level. Here you’ll find customer service, shops, vending machines and ATMs. It also has platform level. Passengers can board Line 4 trains here. One platform is for trains heading towards Nansha Passenger Port. The other is for trains towards Huangcun.

Nanheng Station has several exits. Exit A leads to Huanshi Dadaonan. Exit B goes to Jiangmei Lu. Exit C also leads to Huanshi Dadaonan. These exits help passengers reach their destinations easily.

The area around Nanheng is developing. Nansha is a new area in Guangzhou. It has become a center for technology and economic growth.

Nansha itself became a district in 2005. Before that, it was part of Panyu District. In 2012, it was designated a State-level New Area. This designation brought new investment and development to the region.

Nansha boasts the present-day Port of Guangzhou. It also contains the Nansha Wetland Park. These are important features of the district.

Nanheng Station is more than just a transport hub. It represents progress and connection. As you stand here, think about the thousands of people who pass through daily. They are going to work, school, or home. Nanheng helps them get there.

So next time you are in Guangzhou take a ride to Nanheng. Experience the southernmost point of the metro. See how this station connects Nansha to the rest of the city.
