Established in 1919 by the remarkable Bishop Ida Robinson Mt. Olive Holy Temple was a pioneering church. In a time when women in ministry were rare Bishop Robinson’s leadership was extraordinary. The current pastor Bishop Thomas J Martin Jr has served for eighteen years. He’s a lifelong member having joined at the age of five. He speaks proudly of the church’s history and its ongoing mission.
