Mountaintop International Word Ministry began humbly. Bishop Faulk, after 25 years at Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ, answered God’s call. This leap of faith came after much prayer. The ministry’s name reflects this spiritual high ground.

Imagine September 15th, 2005. The ministry was declared. Bishop Faulk, his wife, and three sons stood ready. They had no building. But their faith was strong.

On October 16th, 2005, Mountaintop held its first service. Ferndale Assemblies of God provided space. Bishop Faulk preached “IT SHALL BE DONE”. He believed God would accelerate their growth. He prophesied great things.

Bishop Faulk anointed everyone. He declared they were chosen. Chosen “for such a time as this”. His words resonated with hope. The small group felt empowered.

God’s grace was evident. In just two and a half years, Mountaintop congregation bought a church. This 27000 square foot building in Oak Park became their home on December 4th 2007. The ministry flourished.

Many souls were baptized. People received the Holy Spirit. Mountaintop International Word Ministry became a beacon. It drew people seeking spiritual growth.

Bishop Faulk’s journey is inspiring. He has been married to Michelle Danita Faulk for over 41 years. They have three sons. He also has grandchildren.

He earned a Business Administration degree from the University of Detroit. He also studied at Walsh College. Aenon Bible College awarded him an honorary doctorate.

For 30 years, Bishop Faulk worked at DTE Energy. He held management roles. He testifies to Jesus’ faithfulness. God has proven faithful through the years.

Mountaintop International Word Ministry welcomes all. It embraces the “Agape” love of Jesus Christ. Daily scriptures inspire. Services happen on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Both in person and virtually.
