“Local artists supported since 2010” reads the sign. That is the motto of the Montreal Art Center and Museum. We’re standing before a historic building at 1844 William Street in Griffintown. It is not just a building. It is a creative hub.

This is the Montreal Art Center and Museum. It proudly supports local artists. The center has served as a creative home to hundreds of member artists since 2010. Originally built in 1879 the historic patrimonial building offers over 50 open and private studio spaces. It also has additional spaces for Ceramics Club members.
