Mohammedan Sporting Ground is also known as Mohammedan Sporting Howrah Union Ground. This ground is primarily used for football matches. It serves as the home stadium for Mohammedan S.C.. Howrah Union shares the ground too.

Opened in 1929, Mohammedan Sporting Ground has seen decades of football history. Eastern Command India owns it. Indian Football Association operates it. The stadium boasts a natural grass turf. It features commentary boxes for radio and TV. A press box is available for media. Air-conditioned changing rooms add comfort for players. The stadium can hold 15000 fans.

Galleries surround the pitch on three sides. The fourth side features a rampart. Members enjoy the north side gallery. Supporters fill the east and south side galleries. These galleries are made of temporary iron structures. The playing pitch measures about 100 x 60 meters. The club tent and main office stand adjacent to the stadium. Maintained lawns and benches furnish the club tent.

Upgrade work began in July 2023. These improvements aimed to enhance the stadium experience. Floodlights are installed. An electronic scoreboard improves the view for supporters. Seating capacity will increase from 15000 to 25000. The member gallery will be upgraded with black and white bucket chairs. An air-conditioned press room will give more comfort to journalists. An ultra-modern gymnasium completes the upgrades.

The Mohammedan Sporting Club crest features a star and crescent. Floral patterns surround them. The club’s name and founding year appear below on waving banners. Green which is the Quranic color dominates the crest.

The club adopted the nickname Black Panthers. It was inspired by their jerseys for the 2020 to 2021 season. The colors resemble the traditional club colors of black and white.

The slogan Jaan Jaan Mohammedan rallies the supporters. The supporters are known for their deep passion and loyalty. Their role is significant in the club’s legacy.
