The Mohammed Bolkiah Mosque isn’t as famous as some of Brunei’s other grand mosques. But it holds its own unique charm. Opened in 1979, the Mohammed Bolkiah Mosque serves a community of up to 3,000 people. Its white-washed exterior, adorned with arches, presents a geometric elegance. This mosque isn’t mentioned in the same breath as the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque or the Jame’ Asr Hassanil Bolkiah. However, for those who appreciate subtle beauty and architectural surprises, the Masjid Mohammad Bolkiah is well worth a visit.
