Can you imagine a church that grew from a refugee’s prayer? This is the story of Miracle Centre Church Remera, right here in Kigali. It’s a place of hope, a sanctuary of faith, and a monument to resilience. Let’s step inside and discover the story of this church.

Miracle Centre Church Remera was founded in 1995 by Apostle Theobald Samedi. He had fled the Rwandan Genocide in Uganda. While in Uganda, God told him to return to Rwanda after the war. He was to rebuild lives and hope. He had a vision. He wanted to open churches across the country. He chose this place in Remera to begin. Since then, Miracle Centre Church Remera has spread to other parts of the nation. It has become a network of Churches, empowering Rwandan people. It has expanded beyond Rwanda influencing neighboring countries like Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Tanzania.

During the genocide, Rwanda was devastated. The people were broken. It was a place without hope. But Apostle Theobald returned with a message of peace, healing, and hope. He planted a seed in this place called Remera. That seed grew into a robust network of churches, spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Miracle Centre Church Remera has become a beacon of hope, not only to the people living in Kigali but also to those in need struggling in the shadows of hardship all over the Rwandan nation. They have extended a helping hand to orphans, paying for their school fees. They are living out their faith, making a difference in the lives of Rwandans.

Standing here, you can practically feel the spirit of hope and community that surrounds this church. Miracle Centre Church Remera is more than just a place of worship. It’s a testament to the power of faith, the power of hope, and the power of humanity. It’s a story of resurrection from the ashes of a genocide, proving that even in the darkest of times, light can prevail.
