The school is recognized and permanently unaided by the Mumbai Municipal Corporation. Michael High School and Junior College has garnered numerous awards. It’s known for its excellent academic environment. Principal Jean Moses Gomes herself received the prestigious “Best Teacher Award” in 2011 from the President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee. The school holds an impressive A+ grade accreditation. In the academic year 2014-2015, Michael High School and Junior College achieved a remarkable 100% pass rate for the SSC exams.
