From this vantage point at Masterhøj the panorama is breathtaking. Masterhøj sits on a slope overlooking a valley. The Ring Road runs through it. This creates a striking visual ‘room’ if you can perceive it from the road below.

Westward the harbour and Sct Jørgensbjerg are visible. You can also see the large protected area around Sct Hans Hospital. Protected fields and forests stretch towards Boserup and Bognæs.

To the northeast lies the unspoiled village of Veddelev. Risø with its experimental windmills and the bird-rich Bløden Bay are partially visible. Further off in the distance is the protected island of Eskildsø owned and managed by the Struckmann Foundation. The Danish Nature Preservation Association is on its board.
