Do you hear the calls to prayer echoing through Kampong Kasat? These calls emanate from the Masjid Kampong Kasat. It’s more than just a building. It’s the heart of this community. Masjid Kampong Kasat has witnessed the ebb and flow of life in this village since its inauguration on November 28, 1980. The original structure could hold about 250 worshippers. After renovations between 1996 and 1997, Masjid Kampong Kasat expanded its capacity to 500. Imagine the Friday prayers, the Ramadan gatherings, the celebrations of Eid. This mosque has been a constant presence through it all. It serves not only as a place of worship, but also as a gathering place, a center for learning, and a symbol of unity for the people of Kampong Kasat.
