Wow This is it the Maison Johnny Halliday. Johnny Hallyday the French Elvis’s former Los Angeles home. It sits on Amalfi Drive in Pacific Palisades. Imagine the rock and roll legend strolling these grounds. He built this luxurious seven-bedroom eight-bathroom mansion. The house boasts multiple salons a bar a library and even a cinema. It was a true home for family evenings.
The house was more than just a place to live. It represented Johnny’s American dream. He loved the US. After living in Beverly Hills he chose Pacific Palisades for his family. His daughters’ school was nearby. This made the morning commute much easier.
Johnny spared no expense. He spent millions renovating the 1000-square-meter property. The renovations were extensive. The property included a stunning infinity pool where he often relaxed with his wife and daughters. The house also had space for his impressive car collection.
Sadly after Johnny’s death in 2017 Laeticia Hallyday sold the home. The high maintenance costs and property taxes made it necessary. She sold it for 14 million dollars. That’s over 11.5 million euros. Selling the house was heartbreaking for her. It held many precious memories. She stayed in the area though. She promised Johnny she would raise their daughters in the US.
Their new home wasn’t far. But tragedy struck again. Wildfires ravaged the area and destroyed the original home. Laeticia described the loss as heartbreaking. She felt like she had lost a part of herself. The house was more than bricks and mortar. It was filled with years of laughter memories and love. It was a testament to a beautiful life and a tragic loss.
