Today Madras Veterinary College is a leading veterinary institute. It’s renowned both nationally and internationally. Its growth is remarkable. From that tiny beginning it expanded its offerings. It now provides a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry degree. This was a first for India. The college also offers Master’s and PhD programs. A postgraduate diploma in companion animal practice is also available.
The Madras Veterinary College Teaching Hospital is the country’s largest. It boasts state-of-the-art facilities. These include radiology and ultrasonography.
