“Need directions?” Consider M7 in Milano. It is accessible by bus, train, metro, and light rail. Several transit lines pass near M7.
M7 can be reached by bus lines 81 and 90. Also, bus lines 60, 82, and NM3 stop nearby. Train lines RE6, RE8, S11, and S8 will get you there. Metro lines M3 and M5 are also convenient. Light rail lines 2 and 4 offer further options.
The closest stations to M7 are Zara M3 M5 and Zara. Viale Stelvio Via Lario is also nearby. Via Taramelli Piazza A. Claudio is a short walk away.
But what is M7 really? Marco Sette founded M7 Architecture+Design in 2007. Sette showcases expertise in architecture and green architecture. Building renovations and interior design are specialties. Industrial design and urban planning round out the firm’s capabilities.
Before founding M7, Marco Sette worked in the USA. He lectured at Woodbury University. He also taught at the New School of Architecture of San Diego.
Earlier in his career, Sette graduated from FAF Ferrara University. He earned a thesis on a new museum for contemporary art in Bolzano. He worked with Prof. Maurizio di Puolo, a coworker of Achille Castiglioni.
M7 is also linked to discussions about Milan’s future metro lines. The M6 is planned to serve municipalities 4 and 5. It will extend northwest to the MIND area. Some Milanese are already thinking about an M7 line. One early proposal suggested a route from Rho Fiera to Milano 2. Proposed stops included Stephenson, Certosa, and Accursio. Domodossola, Arco della Pace, and Turati were also considered.
Another proposal was based on the metrotranvia nord route. This line would run from Cascina Gobba M2 to Certosa. A third alternative proposed fewer stops. It would extend to Molino Dorino M1. This version would roughly follow the metrotranvia nord route. Stations would include Ponte Nuovo and Adriano. Tremelloni and Precotto would also be stops.
Whether discussing architecture or transportation, M7 represents innovation. It also embodies Milan’s forward-thinking spirit.
