Chidambaram Chettyar. Smt. Sivagami Pethachi served as the Founder Correspondent. She envisioned a unique school in Chennai. She wanted students to excel academically. Under her guidance the school progressed rapidly. It became a Higher Secondary School in 1989. Sadly she passed away in May 1990. Shri M.Ct.Pethachi and Shri M.Ct.P. Chidambaram then took over leadership.
The school had classes from Junior Nursery to XII. It functions as a co-educational Higher Secondary School. It gained ISO 9001:2015 certification. Dedicated teachers instruct students. The Principal monitors the academic work. The school prepares students for the CBSE Examination in Std X. It also readies Std XII students for the Higher Secondary Examination. This examination is conducted by Tamil Nadu’s Director of Government Examinations.
