It is called the 1st Gymnasium of Lykovrysi. There is also a lyceum. It goes by the name of the 1st Lyceum of Lykovrysi. St. Catherine’s British Embassy School is also located here.

Throughout the years Lykovrysi has seen changes in population. In 1981 the population was 4437. By 1991 it increased to 5965. In 2001 the population grew to 8116. The 2011 census recorded 9650 residents. In 2021 the population was 9705.
