Since 1995, the Louise-Schroeder-Schule has cooperated with “Die Schlumper”. “Die Schlumper” is a group of artists with disabilities. Together they created the “Schlumper School”. Children visit the Schlumper Studio at Thedestrasse 99 four days a week. Students can work at their own pace without strict pedagogical intervention. Schlumper artists and assistants support them.

Louise Schroeder Schule is also a Kulturschule since 2005. It cooperates with artists and cultural institutions. In 2015/16, the school won the “Olymp” award for cultural education. The Louise-Schroeder-Schule participates in the “alles>>k\u00f6nner” school experiment. It focuses on competence orientation and new models of competence description.

The Louise-Schroeder-Schule sees itself as an integration and cultural school. It emphasizes cooperation between children, educators, parents, and external professionals.
