A second large vehicle, an LF-L, along with a trailer-mounted high-volume pump, has to be housed at the nearby Fire and Rescue Station 8 in Dortmund-Eichlinghofen. There are plans for a future construction project that would allow Löschzug 15 to keep using its historic building while accommodating all its equipment. Löschzug 15 Kirchhörde/Löttringhausen isn’t just about active firefighting. It also has a retired members’ division and, since 2005, a youth fire brigade.
