Fifty years of faith a testament to unwavering dedication. That’s the story of Living Waters Christian Fellowship Church. Right here before us stands this church a beacon of community. It began humbly in 1973. Twenty-seven people gathered at Faith Lutheran Church in Huntington Beach. Pastor Don Miller and his family led the way. They envisioned a place of worship. A place where faith could flourish. Living Waters was born. The small congregation soon outgrew their space. In 1974 they purchased land. They built their first sanctuary. Growth continued. Pastors Dan and Finnabea Moore took the reins in 1979. Pastor Dan’s vision was expansive. He aimed to reach the lost of Orange County. The church expanded. A larger sanctuary was built in 1984. An education and office building followed in 1992. By 1998 the congregation had paid off a significant debt. Living Waters continued to grow. In 2015 a 2.25 million dollar renovation transformed the facilities. Larger spaces for children and youth were created. The office space was redesigned. Pastor Dan Moore transitioned to Pastor Emeritus in 2021. Pastor Deena Querry became Senior Pastor. Living Waters remains committed to its mission. It focuses on sharing the Gospel. It ministers to families of all ages. The church continues to adapt to meet the needs of its community. Living Waters is a place of connection and belonging. It is a testament to the enduring power of faith. It is a place of service. A vibrant and growing community of believers. Step inside and feel the warmth of its welcome.
