What if I told you about a church that started in a basement? This is the story of the Living Faith Christian Center. It began humbly in 1985 in Erial, New Jersey. Dr. Lamont D. and Constance R. McLean started the church in their basement. They began with just ten members. Living Faith Christian Center quickly grew into a multicultural, multi-generational congregation. It touched thousands of lives. In 2004, the church relocated to its current location in Pennsauken, New Jersey. This 108,000 square foot building was formerly the South Jersey Expo Center. Remarkably, the building was fully paid off in 2016. A significant moment in the Living Faith Christian Center’s history came in June 2007. Dr. Lamont passed away. Pastor Connie took on the role of Senior Pastor. The day after her husband’s passing, she bravely led three services. She inspired her congregation with words of faith. Later that year, during a Kenneth Copeland conference, Pastor Connie received a direct message. Brother Copeland, seemingly inspired, shared a comforting word about her new leadership role. The foundation of Living Faith Christian Center is faith and love. Pastor Connie embodies this. She teaches and practices healing through prayer. She believes in the power of God’s healing. Living Faith Christian Center embraces the presence of God. It is a place where people feel blessed and joyful.
