For nearly 50 years Pastor Richard Hernandez and his wife Carmen have ministered at the Lily of the Valley Church. This isn’t just a church it’s a Denver institution. It’s a place where hope blooms.

Pastor Hernandez a Denver native graduated from East High School. He earned a Master of Ministry and a Doctor of Ministry. His wife Carmen a Naturopathic Doctor and Master Herbalist serves as the church’s music director. They met at a singspiration in California while he attended Western Apostolic Bible College. They’ve been married for 52 years. Their family includes two sons two daughters-in-law and three grandsons.
The Lily of the Valley Church is part of the United Pentecostal Church International. It’s a friendly community focused on learning the Bible and following Jesus’s example.
