Sadly, Laojunjing doesn’t have a glamorous past filled with emperors and grand battles like some other places in Chengdu. What is clear is that it became part of the Jiajia Subdistrict in December 2019. The area has seen significant changes over the years. It seems the details of its transformation from a quiet countryside township to a part of this bustling city are lost to time. Perhaps one day, we’ll uncover more of its story.
