The Lamb of God Lutheran Church, nestled in Humble, Texas, is a beacon of faith, a testament to the enduring power of community, and an embodiment of hope in the midst of life’s challenges. Pastor John and Lori Miller arrived in Humble in 1976 with a vision to establish a Lutheran congregation. Twenty-three people came together on February 18, 1977, to start this new chapter in their faith journey. Their dedication led to the official chartering of the church on April 24, 1977. The congregation steadily grew, requiring the addition of numerous buildings to accommodate the increasing number of members. The church flourished, establishing an early childhood ministry, and demonstrating its commitment to the surrounding community. This vibrant, nurturing environment endured even after the passing of Pastor Miller, where the church found new leaders and continued to thrive. Through its rich history, the church has become a sanctuary where individuals find solace, support, and a sense of belonging. The Lamb of God Lutheran Church is a vibrant tapestry interwoven with stories of God’s grace, love, and unwavering commitment to the community. It is a place where faith is ignited, connections are forged, and hope is kindled for generations to come.
