That was when the church’s Hispanic ministry began. Edwardo became a pillar of the Hispanic congregation. He helped form and lead the worship team. He also expounded the Word of God. In May 2014, Edwardo graduated from San Diego Christian College. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Christian ministry. He was officially appointed as pastor in June 2016. He trusted Jesus’ work on the cross to make him right with God.

During his teen years, two amazing things happened. First, he sensed God calling him into vocational ministry. Second, he met his future wife, Wendy. His call to ministry was confirmed. He became involved in the local church. He studied God’s Word.

His history with Lake Murray Community Church started before he knew God’s plan. His family started attending when he was in junior high. He spent formative years in the church and youth ministries. He taught his first Bible studies. He attended his first missions trips. He built lifelong relationships. He even met his future wife.

He started on staff at Lake Murray Community Church in 2004. He served as the part-time youth pastor while attending seminary. After graduating in 2007, he became the associate pastor. In June 2014, he became the senior pastor. It is a blessing to serve in the church that shaped his life.
