La Salle’s growth continued. It became affiliated with the Polytechnic University of Barcelona. It expanded its offerings. New specialties like image and sound emerged. La Salle became the first center in Catalonia to teach this specialization.

The year 1991 marked another milestone. La Salle became a founding member of Ramon Llull University a significant private university in Spain. It contributed two schools to this prestigious institution.

La Salle Campus Barcelona continued to evolve. New programs in management engineering multimedia and architecture emerged. Innovation was central to its mission. In 2001 La Salle Technova Barcelona an innovation park was established.
