The Greifswald artist Marcus Schramm had the idea. He also carried out the construction. That was in 2017. Schramm created an exhibition space in public. The Kunstkubus CUBIC is 2.39 x 2.39 x 2.39 meters in size. It sits on a flat concrete base. Three of the four outer walls are made of Corten steel. They have different-sized glass surfaces. The art association “art-cube” organizes the exhibitions. It is called “Raum für zeitgenössische Kunst e.V.” The association puts on three to four exhibitions each year.
