In 2012 a significant move happened. The distillery relocated to its current location in the historic Paymaster Building within the Brooklyn Navy Yard. It was also near the waterfront’s former distillery district.

All this comes from a place that once made the smallest batches. Kings County never buys bulk whiskey. Every drop is made in-house. This commitment to quality resulted in numerous accolades from prestigious competitions like the American Distilling Institute’s “Distillery of the Year” award.
