Imagine standing in the middle of King Springs Baptist Church. It feels like you’ve stepped back in time, surrounded by the echoes of a vibrant past. It all started in the spring of 1957 when a group of passionate individuals from First Baptist Church in Smyrna, Georgia, had a vision: to share their love of God with the people of their community. They purchased a six-acre tract of land and built a large meeting room in the house on that land. On May 19, 1957, they established the King Spring Baptist Mission – a small group of around 40 individuals. King Springs Baptist Church has grown tremendously since then, becoming a vibrant beacon of faith and hope in the community. They offer two distinct worship styles that cater to the diverse needs of their congregation. Today, King Springs Baptist Church continues to be a testament to the strength and resilience of faith, connecting with their community and sharing the message of the Gospel in a way that is relatable and relevant. This place is not just a church, but a shining example of a community of love and support.
