The King Khalid International Airport Mosque, completed in 1983, was designed by the renowned US firm HOK. It was a marvel of its time, blending traditional Islamic architecture with cutting-edge construction techniques. The mosque was designed to serve the thousands of Muslim passengers traveling through King Khalid International Airport. The mosque’s hexagonal design covers over 5,600 square meters.
