Can you imagine a campus designed to be a living room? The Kanbar Campus Center, built in 2006, makes this vision a reality. Standing tall on the East Falls Campus of Thomas Jefferson University, it’s designed to bring the entire campus community together. This award-winning building is like a giant hub for learning, culture, and social activity.
The Kanbar Campus Center boasts 72,000 square feet of space with an open design. It feels like a giant, light-filled space, thanks to the walls of windows that let the sun pour in and reveal the surrounding natural beauty. Inside, there’s a huge variety of spaces for all types of students, faculty, and staff. It’s got plenty of meeting areas, a 192 seat multi-purpose room for a variety of events, the University Bookstore, Mail Services, and even a convenient store. You can also find a cafe and recreation area, a dining facility, and student life offices. It’s a true one-stop shop for the campus community. They call it the “living room” of the campus, and it’s easy to see why. It’s a place where everyone can relax, study, and just hang out. You can easily spend a whole day exploring all that the Kanbar Campus Center has to offer!
