It’s hard to imagine the transformation of the space, what once stood here has been replaced by a sleek, inviting structure. This building opened its doors in 2005 as an extension to the original Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts, founded in 1980. This gallery is not just a museum, it’s a cultural powerhouse. Inside, you’ll find an astounding collection of over 2,800 works. These pieces represent artists from all over the world, but with a strong focus on the Arab and developing worlds. Paintings, sculptures, ceramics, video art, and installations— a diverse world of artistic expression. What makes this gallery truly unique is that it’s a beacon of art from often-overlooked regions.
