What began as a small gathering has blossomed into a global ministry. Now standing before Jesus Celebration Centre JCC in Lamu let me share its remarkable story.
Jesus Celebration Centre JCC is part of an international Pentecostal ministry. Its influence extends from Kenya to the United Kingdom and even to the United States. The main headquarters is in Bamburi Mombasa. It is known as the biggest glass-built sanctuary in East Africa. It can hold up to ten thousand people.
Under Pastor Wilfred Lai’s leadership, Jesus Celebration Centre is rapidly growing. It spreads the gospel to countless people worldwide. Pastor Lai is the founder and general overseer of Jesus Celebration Centre across the globe. He transformed the Mombasa church. It grew from 60 members to over ten thousand. He has established churches in Kenya the USA and the UK.
Pastor Lai also pioneered television ministry in Kenya. He now operates a satellite TV station. It broadcasts the Gospel throughout Africa. He is a respected conference speaker. His international ministry is well-known. He equips pastors and leaders. For over 25 years, he has hosted Word Explosion. It is an international conference for pastors and leaders. It ministers to over 50000 people. He also organizes prophetic conferences in Kenya and across Africa.
Pastor Lai established a ministry school in Mombasa. It trains men and women of God. He also founded schools from Pre-K to High School. The church’s strength is based on five pillars. These are prayer faith giving fellowship and the Word. Jesus Celebration Centre Mombasa operates from multiple locations called centers. The vision is to have several centers. Each center will then open branches around it.
Pastor Lai’s ministry is marked by six anointings. These include faith favor the spirit of might the spirit of prayer grace for kingdom wealth and the spirit of breakthrough. His apostolic grace has enabled him to raise many sons. These sons are now pastoring ministries worldwide.
