Revving engines echo in my mind. The Isle of Man Motor Museum stands before us a testament to speed and innovation.

This isn’t just any museum. It’s a petrolhead’s pilgrimage. A haven for car and motorbike enthusiasts. The Isle of Man Motor Museum opened in May 2015. It’s housed in a purpose-built building on the site of the former RAF Jurby. Over 500 vehicles are showcased. The collection includes everything from veteran cars to modern super bikes.

The heart of the museum is the Cunningham Collection. Denis and Darren Cunningham assembled it over 30 years. These aren’t just cars. They are family heirlooms with incredible stories. Their passion led them to create this museum. They wanted to share their love of motoring history. More than 250 vehicles from other enthusiasts are on display too. The Isle of Man Motor Museum proudly displays local heroes machines as well.

Imagine the roar of a 1904 Gordon Bennett Trials racer. See the bikes that conquered the infamous 37.73-mile Mountain Course. The Isle of Man TT Museum is a part of the larger Isle of Man Motor Museum. It’s dedicated to the Isle of Man TT Races. It features Bob McIntyre’s collection.
