In collaboration with the Institut f\u00fcr Kulturanthropologie/Europ\u00e4ische Ethnologie, a new program began in 2006. It was the integrated Bachelor program ‘Kultur- und Sozialanthropologie’. This interdisciplinary program combines social and cultural anthropology with European Ethnology.
Later, in 2009, the Institut f\u00fcr Ethnologie launched an advanced Master’s program. This English-language program is called ‘Social Anthropology’. It equips students with theoretical insights. It also provides empirical competencies. These are necessary for scholarly and professional pursuits.
