Did you know Impact Church in Detroit began in a banquet hall? Impact Church Metro Detroit ICD launched in September 2020. It started as a church plant from Impact Church in Jacksonville Florida. This global network is overseen by Bishop George Davis. Churches exist in the US India and Peru. The first service was held at The Meridian Banquet Hall in Farmington Hills. After a year the church moved to the nearby Holiday Inn & Suites. They were searching for a permanent home. Then they found a former Ace Hardware store in Novi. This building had been vacant for over a decade. The owner renovated it. It became a perfect blank canvas for Impact Church’s transformation. The church is a diverse community. It welcomes believers and seekers. Their mission is to help people know God find freedom discover purpose and make a difference. More than a thousand people claim to have become Christians through the church’s services or outreach activities. Impact Church isn’t just a building it’s a place of transformation and growth. A place where faith flourishes and lives are changed. It’s a testament to the power of community and the enduring spirit of Detroit. The story of Impact Church is one of growth adaptation and unwavering faith. It continues to touch lives and make a difference in the community. Their leadership includes Pastor DJ David a native Detroiter with extensive ministry experience. He’s known for his inspirational keynotes across the globe. Grace his wife serves as a key leader. She’s a graduate of the University of Michigan with degrees in communications and psychology. Together they lead Impact Church building a community of faith hope and love in the heart of Detroit.
